The focus of this session is “water.” Three companies with technologies ranging from Filtration, and In-Water-Line power generation to Storm Water Collection and Filtration will provide 15 minute presentations of their technologies. Attendees will include Municipal and Consulting Engineers and Government Administrators. The resulting dialogue will be of value to all parties while initiating further rapport and relationships.
SUN-RISE is a forum created by the new Startup Newburgh Accelerator to introduce emerging technologies (such as Clean-Tech and Health Care or Fin-Tech) to our urban and academic associates. The resulting dialogue is meant to explore synergies, logistics and opportunities in the broadest possible context.
The series matches municipal infrastructure needs and wants with technologies being developed by regional tech firms. The first SUN-RISE event will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to present their products and meet potential regional users/specifiers of their technology. Feedback from city and consulting engineering groups will enable entrepreneurs to refine their products to suit the specific needs of local small cities.
